James A. Spentzos was born on August 21,1938 in Nestani, Greece to Andreas and Konstantina (nee Paziotopoulos) Spentzos. He died peacefully Saturday, March 11, 2017 surrounded by his family.

Jimmy arrived at Ellis Island, NY on May 13, 1955, and went on to own and operate many successful restaurants in the Chicagoland area. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church in Des Plaines for 50 years. Jimmy loved to spend time with his family and was loved by all.

Jimmy is survived by his spouse of 53 years, Patricia (nee Tsiambas); children, Andy Spentzos, Dina (Dimitri Neckopulos) Spentzos, Giorgia (Alex Dravilas) Spentzos, Christina (Anastasios) Intounas; grandchildren, Kyriako, Dimitri, Panayioti and Alexi; siblings , Chris (Alexandra) Spentzos, Gus (Bessie) Spentzos, Louie (Vana) Spentzos, Pete (Vicky) Spentzos, Vasiliki (Alex) Deligiannis, and Tom Spentzos; many nieces and nephews; and many grand-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Jonathon Ross Iaccino was born on May 21, 1998 in Arlington Heights to John and Elisa (nee Cardamone) Iaccino. He died Monday, March 6, 2017 in Arlington Heights.

Jonathon loved listening to music and watching movies. He had a kind heart for his school, teachers, therapists and all of his friends who helped him and loved him. Jonathon loved to spend time with his family, especially his sisters and special “furry” friends Teddy and Louie.

Jonathon is survived by his parents,John and Elisa Iaccino, sisters, Amanda and Ava Iaccino; grandmothers, Emily Cardamone and Emily Iaccino; aunts and uncles, Sal (Kerri) Cardamone, Frankie (Nicki DeMaria) Cardamone, Cindy (Anthony) Faraci and Bob Iaccino; cousins, Jack Cardamone, Anthony Cardamone, Daniel Cardamone, Nina Faraci, Sofia Faraci and Sabrina Faraci.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Rosalbino Cardamone and Francesco Iaccino.

Michael B. Fillichio was born on September 18, 1933 in Chicago to Botty and Marie (nee Pluta) Fillichio. He died Sunday, March 5, 2017 in Arlington Heights.

Michael served in the United States Navy. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Degree in Accounting. Michael worked as Vice-President Senior Loan Officer in the Commercial Loan Division for Lake Shore National Bank in Chicago for over 25 years. He was a member of St. Edna Catholic Church in Arlington Heights, and also was a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus member. Michael’s greatest joy was in spending time with family. He shared his love for Disney, by taking all of his family on several fun trips. While on these trips, he shared his favorite attractions with them, including Pirates of the Caribbean. Michael was also known to be a “connoisseur” of fine cigars.

Michael is survived by his daughters, Theresa (Michael) DeBiase, Lisa Fillichio and Michele (William) Lech; grandchildren, Joey DeBiase, Daniella DeBiase, Alyssa Lech, Olivia Lech and Alaina Lech.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Constance (nee Lenza); and his parents.

Frances A. Draut was born on June 26, 1918 in Chicago to Daniel and Isabella (nee McWilliams) O’Connell. She died Friday, February 24, 2017 at Lake Barrington Woods in Barrington.

Frances worked as a nurse in Chicago, then she taught special education at Westbrook School in Mt. Prospect, retiring in 1987. She was a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Cary. Frances was an avid swimmer, reader, attended Bible Study, loved to travel and was nicknamed “Out and About Mrs. Draut”. She loved to spend time with her family and was loved by all.

Frances is survived by her children, Patricia “Patti” Draut-Diggs, Michael “Mike” Draut, Terrence “Terry” (Alejandro Ameijeiras) Draut, Dennis “Denny” (Geraldine) Draut, Danette (Edward) Foreman, Timothy “Tim” Draut, Robert “Bob” Draut, Sheila Draut, Megan (Gary) Kurek and Frances “Fran” Draut; grandchildren Dylan Draut, Colette Draut-Diggs, Colleen Diggs, Garrett Draut, Kevin Draut, Aaron Diggs, Alanna Kurek, Taylor Wilson and Stephanie Molina; great-granchildren, Kyle Draut, Juliette Draut-Griffen and Aidan Gerentine-Diggs; sister-in-law, Lois O’Connell; and many nieces and nephews.

Lucille Ann Michelfelder was born on April 5, 1929 in Caspian, MI to Walter and Justine (nee Pavlik) Piekarski. She passed away peacefully Saturday, February 18, 2017 in Des Plaines, IL

Lucille and her husband Frank were members of card clubs and bowling leagues. They enjoyed traveling the United States in their RV and spent their summers in Manistee, MI on their boat. Lucille loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and was loved by all.

Lucille is survived by her children, Tracy (Robert) Marek, Steven Kolbas, Terry (Peter) Sojka and Brad Busakowski; grandchildren, Jennifer Marek, Adam Marek, Nicholas Marek and Emily Sojka; her dear dogs, Suzz, Heidi and Suzie.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Michelfelder; former husbands Joe Kolbas and Paul Busakowski; siblings, Florence Busakowski, Dorothy Rae, Agnes Strenke, Veronica Richards and George Piekarski.

Raymond worked as a bank executive for First National Bank of Chicago. He was a member of St. Emily Catholic Church in Mt. Prospect. Raymond loved to spend time with his wife, Mary, and was loved by all.

After nearly 10 hard-fought years, Ann Gertrude Hitchcock Fillipp succumbed to the cruel consequences of Alzheimer’s and Vascular Dementia on February 5, 2017. Born September 4, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois, she was 85 years old.

Ann is survived by her husband Jack “Jake” Fillipp, her daughter Laura, her son Bill, her step-son Glen (Norma), her step-grandsons Dan and Jacob (Elizabeth), and her sister Alberta O’Brien – who all believe that they have been changed for the better because they knew Ann.

She was preceded in death by her parents William and Mary Hitchcock, husband George, brothers Russell (Evelyn), James (Bernice), Joseph (Anne) and William (Dan).

Mr. Swanson worked as a Electrician for Hyre Electric in Chicago for 42 years. He was a member of IBEW Local 134. He served his country as a Marine in the Vietnam War. After retiring, he enjoyed spending his winters in Cape Coral, Florida and was an avid fisherman. Richard loved to spend time with his family and was loved by all.

Richard is survived by his spouse of 48 years, Darlene (nee Massa) whom he married August 10, 1968 in Chicago; children, Eric (Christy) Swanson and Heather (Matt) Ballard; grandchildren, Ryan Ballard, Ashley Ballard, Gus Swanson and Eli Swanson; brother, Donald (Mary) Swanson; nieces and nephews, Christine (Gary) Hagerstrom, David Swanson, Jesse Massa and Elizabeth Massa; and brother-in-law, James (Rita) Massa.

Martha J. Stoltzner was born on October 24, 1934 in Hume to William and Mary (nee Winn) Epperson. She died Sunday, January 29, 2017 in Arlington Heights.

Martha was a homemaker until her three children were raised, she re-entered the work force in 1980 and her last position was in the accounting department for Caldwell Banker Relocation in Schaumburg. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Arlington Heights. She was also involved in PTA, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts. Martha loved to spend time with her family and was loved by all.

Martha is survived by her children, Tara (Glenn) Blum, Jeff (Laurel) Stoltzner and Lynn Lever; grandchildren, Kevin Blum, Kirk Lever and Jillian Lever; sister, Sue (Wayne) Goetz; sister-in-law, Carol Zaval; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard K. Stoltzner; her parents; sister-in-law, Eleanore Stoltzner and brother-in-law Dave Zaval.

David A. Daniels was born on May 17, 1929 in Chicago to David and Lydia (nee Pera) Daniels. He died Saturday, January 28, 2017 in Glenview.

David served in the United States Air Force, in Japan as a dentist. He also had a private dental practice, and later worked for the City of Chicago. He was a member of St. Mary Parish in Buffalo Grove for over 20 years. David loved to spend time with his family, and was loved by all.

David is survived by his daughter, Genevieve (Lenny Aywaz) Daniels; sister, Esther (Theodore) Williams; sister-in-law, Marty Cohen; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by wife, Genia Mar Yohana; and brother, Douglas Daniels.
