Marilyn K. Lynch was born in 1933 to George and Viola (nee Lian) Klechak. She died April 15, 2017 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights.
Marilyn was a 1951 graduate of Foreman High school in Chicago. She was a member of the Social club ‘The Ambers’ and Past member of American Legion post 690, serving as Treasure in 1960’s. Marilyn worked at Northwest Community Hospital the year they opened in Arlington Heights. She worked many years at Corbetta Construction in Des Plaines, then at St.Viator High School and eventually retiring from the Arlington Heights Park District. She was proud of her children’s accomplishments and she adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren! She was so grateful for her loving husband Warren, family and friends. She lived her life to the fullest.
Marilyn is survived by her husband Warren Lynch; her children Kimberly (Terrence) Smith, Fredrick (Loretta) Haemker and Julie (Ken) Schaefges; her step children Joanne Courvoisier and Joyce (late Tom) Short and Cheryl (Steve) Korshak; Sue (Mike) Gavin and Robert (Anne) Lynch; her 20 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and by her brother Kenneth (late Geraldine) Klechak.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her first husband Fred “Freddy” Haemker; her siblings Norman (late Patricia) Klechak and Joan (late George) Chobanian and by her parents.
Visitation Friday from 9:00 AM until time of memorial service at 11:00 AM at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 111 W. Olive, Arlington Heights. Interment private.
