 Richard W. Slonina was born on August 24, 1945 in Chicago to Walter and Mary Slonina. He died Tuesday, March 14, 2017 in Arlington Heights.

Richard worked as the owner of Eurotec Tile in Chicago. He was a member of Harvest Bible Chapel in Rolling Meadows. He enjoyed dinners with friends, planting in the garden and hanging out with his beloved dog, Max.  Richard loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandddaughters, and was loved by all.

Richard is survived by his daughter Dana Parker; granddaughters, Madison Parker, and Quinn Parker.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother Ted Slonina.

A 1:00 pm Memorial Service will be held Saturday,  March 18, 2017 at Harvest Bible Chapel, 800 Rohlwing Road., Rolling Meadows, IL 60008.

    We were out of town when your father passed away and had been unaware of his failing health. We knew him…and you…for so long…wonderful neighbors and friends throughout the years…the news of his illness and passing saddened us a great. Our sincerest condolences! May his smile and wonderful, warm personality be part of you, and your children’s memory forever.
